Continuing the first post.
You really have to get up slowly from a lying down to even a sitting up position, to evenly build blood pressure. Then, from a sit-down to standing up.
Especially on a dentist's chair, the med school graduate dentist, he or she says you to slowly sit down.
Principally in yoga, the instructor tells you to rise using your right side, but it doesn't actually matter which one it is. But, a side sitting up can be important.
In so many classes (hello bodybalance), that are more about just fitness, they tell you practically jump from a lie down to exercises on your stomach. It quite often is fast 180 degrees. These instructions are far from medical ones.
Excuse my french, but the advisors are not related to correct procedures in a human body. And one might think, that the yoga teacher just told me to do the opposite last night. This has happened more often than you'd think.
